The Command Books will begin releasing in December (Trollbloods is currently on deck to be the first, followed by Protectorate). The Command Books contain the core foundation for the Prime and Primal factions with all the warcasters and warjacks currently available (along with a few new ones including the full caster/lock versions of the character novice and lessers from Mk II) as well as several support and core units and solos. The Command books also include the first Theme Forces. Following the Command Books (which should all be released by Lock Load 2017 when the new HORDES faction drops), the Theme Books will release. For Convergence, Mercs, and Minions those factions will simply jump into theme force Forces Of Books which (for Mercs and Minions specifically) will build on the old sub-factions set up in the old Contract and Pact system. So for example the Llalese Resistance, Rhul, and Blindwater Congregation will all receive books that will act as both Command Book and Theme Book.
At the panel specifically we talked a lot about the design philosophy behind the Theme Books, how they would build upon the foundation laid by the Command books and how the new approach of being able to focus on a single theme force has given us the opportunity to do things like a Man-o-War Battle Engine or a Trencher character support solo without necessarily having to worry about #DesignSpace because we are filling out fully formed themes within the overall army. So now the player who wants to just do Trenchers instead of Cygnar doesn't have to feel like they have to take non-Trenchers to fill important support or combat roles in their army (like Archduke Ruinwood for example). Or a player who wants to just use Man-o-War doesn't have to be without a Battle Engine that boasts some heavy firepower because the only option is the Winter Guard Gun Carriage.
In the end, the ultimate goal is to provide more choices for players by fleshing out the factions like we've never been able to before. Meaning that if you want to focus on a single theme within an army you will have everything you need to play that theme as a fully contained force, or if you want to pick and choose from everything available for your general faction army you can do that too.

- Blablabla on a bossé comme des fous pour vous faire un super truc #designspace #3ansdeplaytest. Les Theme Lists pourront donner accès à des figurines bien spécifiques (cf. le Greylord Man-O-War vu récemment) qui ne pourront être jouées qu'en Theme List.
Command books will have a 3-4 new models in them since they also count the new models from Prime within their cycle.
Just like the Command books the Theme books will contain all previously released models which are included in the theme and haven't appeared in their faction's Command book.
Theme books will have anywhere from approx. 6-10 (possibly even more depending on the current models available to the theme) new models in them.
