Trench Buster—Cygnar Solo (resin/metal)PIP 31110 MSRP: $21.99
Trench Busters wade into the fight using their massive shields to protect allies from incoming mortar and bombard fire.
Features: The Trench Buster is a good solo that becomes a great solo when you run it with Trenchers.
Trade Points: A great Trencher themed piece, you will want to talk to your Cygnar players in order to gauge appropriate order numbers.
Pyrrhus, Flameguard Hero—Protectorate Character Solo (metal)PIP 32111 MSRP: $17.99
Pyrrhus is more than the epitome of a Flameguard; he represents a pinnacle of Menite devotion and service.
Features: Pyrrhus is arguably the best combat solo in the faction. Additionally, he has great synergy with Temple Flameguard, one of the most popular units in the Protectorate.
Trade Points: Anyone who owns Temple Flameguard, which is a good percentage of Protectorate players, will pick him up. You definitely want to make sure you have Temple Flameguard (PIP 32096) and their UA (PIP 32047) on the shelf when you stock up on Pyrrhus. You should see high turn on this product—ask your players to pre-order so you don’t under-order.
Bloat Thrall Overseer Mobius—Cryx Character Solo (resin/metal) - NO PHOTO -
PIP 34131 MSRP: $24.99
Engineered in secret, Mobius wields its own gun from the back of one of the bloat thralls in its command, as its deformity prevents it from moving independently.
Features: Mobius is a support piece for Bloat Thralls with abilities that greatly increases their versatility and effectiveness, including Veteran Leader and Battle Plan. This model will be a great tool for players looking to add more ranged elements to their Cryx armies.
Trade Points: Make sure you have at least one Bloat Thrall (PIP 34029) on hand for this release as people will want to play them together.
Rök—Trollblood Character Heavy Warbeast (resin/metal resculpt) PIP 71102 MSRP: $54.99
Whenever a remote mountain village is found in ruins and with its taverns plundered, northerners speak fearfully of the dire troll called Rök.
SPECIAL NOTE: PIP 71102 contains the same stat cards as PIP 71062. The model in this box represent the same figure in the game. The replaced PIP will no longer be available from Privateer Press beginning March 1, 2016.
Grotesque Raiders/Grotesque Banshees (shown)—Legion Blighted Nyss Unit (10) (plastic)PIP 73090 MSRP: $59.99
Swooping out of the darkness, the terrifying grotesques unleash misery on those who stand against Everblight.
FEATURES: The latest addition to our HORDES multi-unit plastic kits, this kit contains a new plastic sculpt of an existing unit as well as a never-before-seen unit option for your players to take into battle!
TRADE POINTS: This kit is releasing alongside the Grotesque Assassin (PIP 73091), so you will want to make sure you pick up both the unit and the supporting solo as they have a lot of synergy together.
SPECIAL NOTE: PIP 73090 contains the same stat card as PIP 73048. PIP 73090 replaces PIP 73048. The replaced models will no longer be available from Privateer Press beginning March 1, 2016.
Grotesque Assassin—Legion Solo (metal)PIP 73091 MSRP: $19.99
The grotesque assassin represents the next step in evolution among the grotesques that serve Everblight.
Features: The Grotesque Assassin is a solid melee solo for just 2 points. It’s got 3 initial attacks, Stealth, and SPD 7. It also brings great support abilities for Grotesque units (PIP 73090), which are also releasing this month.
Trade Points: This is a perfect fit with the Grotesque Raiders/Banshees box (PIP 73090). You will want to make sure you bring in at least one of each.
Blackhide Wrastler/Blind Walker (shown)—Minion Gatorman Heavy Warbeast (plastic)PIP 75062 MSRP: $39.99
Massive gators of voracious appetite, blackhide wrastlers easily drag the mightiest foes down to be shredded in a flurry of teeth and claws.
Features: The Wrastler is a staple for Blindwater players, who frequently bring two of the beasts to battle. They’re the hardest-hitting beasts in the pact and are very thematic. Not only does the Blind Walker look amazing, its animus also brings something new to the table with the ability to be used for channeling spells. Between the two of these models, this kit’s sales should be toward the high end for a Minion release.
Trade Points: Don’t be caught without enough of these guys on order. Talk to your players and get their pre-orders to make sure you can meet your community’s demand.
SPECIAL NOTE: PIP 75062 contains the same stat card as PIP 75023. PIP 75062 replaces PIP 75023. The replaced models will no longer be available from Privateer Press beginning March 1, 2016.
Lynus Wesselbaum & Edrea Lloryrr—Minion Character Unit (2) (metal) PIP 75065 MSRP: $19.99
Lynus’ book smarts and sharp memory serve as an excellent complement to Edrea’s arcane gifts, and the pair has made a name for themselves in many academic circles.
Features: Since they’ll work for Cygnar, Trollbloods, Circle, and both Minion pacts, these models will appeal to many players. Their Collaboration ability is the big selling point as it’s what most players will be taking them for, but they also offer ranged attacks and magic attacks without sacrificing Collaboration.
Trade Points: They’ll turn about the same as many other Minion character solos. However, because of the range of players who can use them, you will want to encourage pre-orders to make sure you bring in enough to meet your players’ needs.
